# Years with MCA: Over the 31 years I have been privileged to be a part of MCA, I have worn many “hats”.

Children: 1 daughter who is an MCA alumus.
Pets: 2 cats, named Patches and TJ (Trouble Junior)

Grew up in: Illinois
Background: My husband and his brother own and operate Crest Cleaners in Mooresville. My husband also has a bus route for Mooresville Consolidated Schools. I enjoy reading Christian fiction and listening to Christian music. I grew up in Illinois and have two sisters and one brother. I attended college in Houston, Texas. My favorite verse is Philippians 4:13 which happens to be our schoool verse this year. It helps me remember that with the Lord's help, I can do anything He wants me to. I enjoy shopping (especially for bargains!) and watching crime shows (NCIS, CSI, Criminal Minds, Castle, etc.)
I became a Christian as a sophomore in high school and had the privilege of attending a Bible College majoring in elementary ed. and Bible. My husband and I went on an Alaskan cruise for our 25th anniversary. The Lord sure created some BEAUTIFUL land up there!!!
